ADD FEATURE LIKE = CELL POLLINATION PROCESS PHOTOSYNTHESIS THANK YOU.
I think this should be more like your coral reef game... I can barely play this.
I bought the first bundle based on Apple’s nice feature of their apps. I agree with the other reviewers, not intuitive enough for kids. Even if intended for use with parents, spoken responses labeling things is crucial for kids still learning to read. I do appreciate the sophistication level but their is a way to make the base level interactions more fun/responsive as well. Also, I’m so sick of apps having a big link on the homepage to buy more of their apps. Apparently developers have no idea how often kids get stuck trying to buy new apps and not knowing what to do. Even worse after buying 10 of their apps the ads for all the apps I bought link to the App Store rather than the app I already bought. As a designer I give the app design a B+, the app icon design maybe the weakest link.
Gorgeous, meditative app shows kids different biomes, flora and fauna and how seasons change. Very unique app- not sure I've seen anything quite like it. Recommend!!
It's a good idea and I like the concept, but for an app geared towards kids "5 and under" it's disappointing the plant and tree names can't be spoken/read to the child. My 4 year old certainly can't read these big words. It's a little confusing also to navigate and figure out what exactly you're doing. Hope it gets better, I do like the concept!
I love how excited my niece get with this app. There are so many animals to interact with and you really get to learn a lot.
Plants is great! Much is made of its free-exploration setup, and I've introduced a lot of my young cousins to it. They figure it out pretty much instantly. I'm an ecologist, and I also regularly use the app during educational presentations. I'm a big fan of this app, and I'm looking forward to future biome additions (especially the mangroves)!
Our favorite part is planting acorns and watching them grow through the seasons. I highly recommend it for anyone with a childlike curiosity.
This is not my favorite tiny bop app, nonetheless it is quite detailed and well developed. I think that if your kid is interested in plants, nature, weather, etc I think you might like it, but my 5 y/o prefers the more technical apps over this one.
It teaches kids to care for plants , my kids love it they have so much fun with it, I recommend it to everyone to check it out
I am a huge fan of all tiny bob has to offer. This is my least favorite app because I feel they missed an opportunity to teach about photosynthesis and plant life cycles.
Love the Lightning!
After purchasing The Body app I figured we could try this one. Not nearly as interesting, and not as much fun.
No kid know what a Guanaco or a Greater Rhea is! They should have short, easy descriptions for the plants and animals and it would make it a lot more educational. Otherwise, the art is stunning and the game engaging.
This app has amazing attention to detail, from the beautiful artwork to the sound design. My kids love making the animals run around and go underground. The animal sounds have them cracking up. The labels are great for teaching them about plant parts, which they’ve also been learning in school. This app has kept them occupied of hours.
Compared to the Human Body app this is lame. It has none of the educational value that we expected from Tinybop . I was hoping to see germination of the seeds into plants, the life cycle of plants and animals and close-ups of systems like mouth, eyes ears in the Human Body.
Love the way kids can control the passage of time in the forest. My son loves it, especially making forest fires!
Love all of the animal sounds!
My 5 year old couldn’t make any sense of it. She hated it. The performance is unbelievably bad… how did they even get it to such a low frame rate? Neither my daughter nor I could figure out what to do with it, what the point was. We both hated it and felt that it was a big waste of money.
My daughter loved the human body. She doesn't understand why she can only learn about white oaks when there are other trees, etc. You don't learn much about plants. "Ecology" would be a better title. Wish I had read more before buying.
This is amazing for anyone of any age!! Absolutely brilliant. Please make more apps like these! Maybe one about animals in their habitats? Anyway, 5 stars but I'd give a million if I could!
I love this app! I honestly think it's for all ages. I am a pre-teen and it is great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Some new biomes... - Jungle - Artic - Mountainous - Oceanic - Savanna - Swamp Some new animals for the certain biomes (mine and the app's) 🌎 Forest - Fish - Skunks - Rabbits - Squirrels - Honey badgers - Cougars 🌏 Deserts - Desert lions - Snakes - Camels 🌎 Artic - Seals - Polar bears - White Foxes - Hares 🌏 Mountainous - Goats - Cougars - Hares 🌎 Savanna - Lions - Cheetahs - Gazelles - Zebras - Hippos - Girrafes - Rhinos - Elephants 🌎 Jungles ( India or The Amzon or both) - Pumas - Tigers - Elephants - Snakes - Monkeys - Apes 🌏 Oceanic - Whales - Dolphins - Fish - Jellyfish - Sharks 🌎 Swamp - Crocodiles - Alligators - Snakes
Tons of awesome play time added with the latest release. The kids love exploring the grasslands and all the animal sounds that got added. Even figured out how to make the bear stand on two legs and roar! Can't emphasize enough how much we love this app. We are huge fans of Tinybop's apps and can't wait to see more.
My4yr old loves it. I got it because I love their other game, and this one, while not as many 'cool mom'! Parts, is very entertaining. She loves to change the seasons and choose different plants.
I agree, it's pretty but boring
The first 5 seconds were fun but it needs to be much more interactive. I thought it would be much more like the human body app, but instead this is what I get.
Couldn't keep their attention for more than 2 seconds.
I mean, the graphics are lovely and my son figured out a couple of cool tricks such as making lightning. Beyond that, the "exploratory" interface is not in any way intuitive. The developers must realize this deep down - why else would they have a 19-page (no joke!) manual available on their website. Oh! And my son somehow recorded us talking while he was playing in the app. There is no obvious way to delete these recordings, save deleting the app. Which I'm about to do.
This is nothing compared to The Human Body app. It's not as interactive as it can be. It's boring and not fun for kids. Being able to zoom in to the scenery would be nice. The graphics are subpar too. I want my money back!
I love this app. It draws you in in a wonderfully intuitive and curiosity inducing way and has the depth to keep you captivated for hours. Our daughter may not keep at it for hours, but she does come back to it again and again and again. A current favorite.
This app takes an initiative almost a meditative approach to exploring the plant life around us. It's sophisticated and magical, and my 5 year old loves it to boot...!
Not intuitive user experience. Graphics more for girls than boys. Lacks fun. That's my take
I love this app. It's like a great, lushly illustrated natural history book brought to life. I love how it's something to play with, but it's not a game. It rewards curiosity, attention, and patience, too, so I really feel good letting my kids play with it. Truly fantastic.
Another awesome learning experience for inquisitive mind.
Like their app before, this one is truly beautiful. At one point, my four year old exclaimed, "wow". That's always a good sign for me! We haven't yet explored all the options but am looking forward to it.
One of the most beautiful education apps I've ever seen.
Paving the future for interactive children illustration. Educational, beautiful, and fun.
Love the artwork; it brings me back to the days of reading the large illustrated books with the scenes where there were a million things to look at and discover. Nice job Tinybop team!
Another gorgeous app for discovery and wonder from Tinybop. Highly recommended.
Great follow-up to The Human Body! Refreshing artistic and interactive approach to plant and animal life makes for a fun learning experience!
My kid really got into this app. I did too - the seasons, animals, and interactive features really reward curious play. I love that concept! I'm really looking forward to the other biomes that the company plans to release!
